IBC 44: Program Schedule

John Keown and IBC 43 participants at Cocktail Hour.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and following Georgetown University guidance, it is with regret that the Kennedy Institute of Ethics and the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics have decided to cancel the Intensive Bioethics Course (IBC) this year.

IBC 44 had been scheduled for June 4-6, 2020. It is now scheduled for June 2021 (provisionally 10 through 12 June). Further details about next year’s course will be posted in due course.

The Kennedy Institute of Ethics and the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics are planning other events — virtual and perhaps at a later date on campus — in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will announce these opportunities once we have further details.

Thank you for your continuing support of the world’s premier bioethics course.

We hope that everyone remains safe and well at this trying time.

With our best wishes

Professor John Keown and Dr. Kevin Donovan
