By air
Washington DC is served by three airports.
The closest, Reagan Washington National Airport, is a 10-15 minute Metro ride to Rosslyn Metro, the closest Metro station to Georgetown University. MetroRail’s Blue Line stops adjacent to Terminals B and C at National Airport. Take the Blue Line to Rosslyn (direction: Largo Town Center). From Rosslyn, buses (GUTS (new window) or MetroBus 38B (new window)) and taxis will take you to the Georgetown area. Alternatively, you can walk across Key Bridge.

Washington Dulles International Airport is about an hour by Uber, taxi or rideshare service to the university. You may also use the Metro Rail’s Silver Line to the Rosslyn Metro Station, which takes about 45 minutes.
If you are traveling Monday to Friday between 5:00 am and midnight, you may use the Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) from the Rosslyn Metro shuttle stop at 19th and N. Moore Streets to Campus or from Campus to Rosslyn Metro. The Rosslyn Metro Station is 1 block from the bus stop.

Baltimore Washington International Airport is a 30 minute train ride to Union Station in Washington DC. (For Amtrak website, click HERE.) From Union Station you can take the Metro (Red Line) to Dupont Circle or to Rosslyn (transfer at Metro Center to the Orange or Silver Lines).
